For residential villas and apartments:
Sum Insured below AED 2,000,000: - Minimum premium: AED 900 (with VAT) - Fixed rate application
Sum Insured above AED 2,000,000: - Requires underwriter referral - Custom pricing based on: - Property value - Location - Construction type - Fire protection measures - Occupancy type
Method 2: Rated Pricing (Commercial/Industrial)¶
For commercial and industrial properties: - Rate based on property value - Occupancy type and risk level - Construction type - Fire protection measures - Location and exposure - Previous claims history

Underwriter Referral¶
When Referral Is Required¶
Cases that need underwriter approval: - Sum insured above AED 2,000,000 - High-risk occupancies (factories, chemical storage) - Poor construction type (wood frame, old buildings) - Properties without fire protection - High-value contents or stock - Properties with adverse claims history - Special hazards present

Validation Rules¶
Mandatory Checks¶
Sum Insured: - Must be greater than zero - Must reflect actual property value - Required field
Property Photos: - Must show external views - Must show internal condition - Must be recent (within 6 months) - Required for all Fire and PAR policies
Property Type: - Must be valid occupancy type - Construction type must be specified - Cannot be vacant or unoccupied without disclosure
Policy Dates: - End date must be after start date - Typical period is 12 months - Cannot backdate more than 30 days
Fire and Allied Perils Specific¶
